About us

The New York Wine Policy Institute (NYWPI) monitors and engages on all policy issues affecting the New York wine industry’s interests. Although its primary focus is on New York State laws and regulations, the NYWPI will join the NY Wine and Grape Foundation in working closely with WineAmerica to reinforce the NY industry members’ voice on new policy developments at the national level. At the local level, NYWPI will offer a new channel for industry members to seek information and guidance on the interaction between state, county and local laws and regulations.  

The NYWPI Board of Directors is comprised of winery owners and grape growers from across New York State.

Membership is open to all individuals, corporations, partnerships and associations interested in advancing the interests of the New York wine and grape growing sectors.
